- Michelle Davis was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where she attended school. She pursued her Bachelor of Arts degree at Northeastern Illinois University at the Jacob Carothers Center for Inner City Studies.
Michelle has worked in the Social Service industry for over 14 years. Having a passion for writing since childhood, she penned and self-published her first book in 2006 entitled “Ain’t Understandin’ Mellow”. Her newest title, “So Amazing”, will be released in 2008. Following her second nature, she created a not for profit corporation, Successful PATHS, that is designed to assist impoverished and at-risk youth with leadership and development. She is also incorporating a small business that will offer inspirational support and encouragement to young mothers, in particular single mothers.
Michelle is a single mother of four who firmly believes that life’s challenges are designed to encourage you to go further. She attributes being raised in the public housing developments of Chicago for helping her develop into a strong, effective woman. Having overcome tremendous odds and kept her sanity intact, she endeavors to help others know that there are no obstacles that can’t be prevailed against.
